    Admissions

    Applicants must apply, audition and be accepted into Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts magnet programs. Applications for Baltimore County high school magnet programs are available for download from the Office of Magnet programs website (www.bcps.org/offices/omp) from mid-September through November 30, 2009. Prior to submitting an application, parents/guardians and students are encouraged to attend the High School Magnet Expo and Patapsco’s Open House for each program of interest. After December 15, 2009 applicants must call PHS/CFA at 410-282-6830 to schedule an audition (see audition guidelines for details). Auditioned applicants are notified in March of their standing.

    New residents to Baltimore County are encouraged to contact the Office of Magnet Programs in regards to the application and audition process.

    Interested in Patapsco but want to see what the average school day is really like?  Students of private middle schools are eligible to “shadow” a Patapsco magnet student during an actual school day.  Contact Liberty Grayek, Magnet Coordinator, for more information at 410-887-7060 ext. 256.
