The Administrative Team is proud of the work of its students and faculty, and delight in calling Patapsco High a school for winners!

Dear Parents, Stakeholders and Community Members

Yesterday, (03/18/09) we received a letter from the Arts Education in Maryland Schools Alliance informing me that our school has won the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts School of Excellence in Arts Education Award for outstanding achievement in arts education. We are a Maryland winner and we will also be extended the opportunity to represent Maryland in the national competition.

We are extremely proud to share this news with you because it represents validation of the hard work of our students, staff, and the support of our families. Key components of the award criteria include collaboration among the arts, whole school projects and academic achievement of our school compared to other schools in the district and state level. This award is a result of everyone's commitment to the success of all students who attend Patapsco.
