It is not too late to join JROTC. If you are thinkingabout joining the military, why not join us to help you decide. Remember you are not obligate to join the military to be part of JROTC. You do not have to be physically fit to join. We have so much fun expeiencing new and interesting things every day. Contact your counselor to become part of our JROTC family here at Patapsco. Let JROTC will "Motivate you to be all you can be".
Belong to the team that is open to all. You don't have to join the military to be a part of the largest team in Patapsco. We have Honor Guard, Color Guard, Drill Team, Adventure Team, Academic Team and we have a lot of fun. This year we will start the Exhibition(Step) Team. Try it and you will see why everyone wants to be part of the JROTC Patriot Battalion.

HELP WANTED
Patapsco will be running the concession stand at the Feb. 2 Drill Meet at te Fifth Regiment Armory. We need adults to take this over. The funds raised will go toward drill equipment and camp. Without you it won't happen. If you can help in anyway please contact LTC Kahl at 410-887-7066 or email
The JROTC program intends to teach cadets to:
- Appreciate the ethical values and principles that underlie good citizenship.
- Develop leadership potential, while living and working cooperatively with others.
- Be able to think logically and to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing.
- Appreciate the importance of physical fitness in maintaining good health.
- Understand the importance of high school graduation for a successful future, and learn about college and other advanced educations and employment opportunities.
- Develop mental management abilities.
- Become familiar with military history as it relates to America's culture, and understand the history, purpose, and structure of the military services.
- Develop the skills necessary to work effectively as a member of a team.
