Databases
Baltimore County Public Schools subscribes to a number of fee-based databases. The content of these databases, unlike most content found on the free Internet, represent authoritative content from reference, periodical and multimedia information resources. An investigation of a subject or research project should always include information located in these fee-base databases. The organization of these databases is exceptional and the powerful search features ensure success in locating information on almost any subject. Database log-ins.

Patapsco HS & CFA Book Club
Book Club Meetings: 3/11, 4/8, 5/6. June is yet to be determined. If you can't make the meetings but would still like to put your 2 cents in, become a member of the Online Book Club.
Patapsco’s book club would love to invite new members to join at any time during the school year. Parents are welcome as well! The book club meets once a month to discuss a chosen novel and we would love to have some fresh perspectives. There are no commitments or grades – just fun. That means if you don’t make it one month we won’t ban you from the club. This year, we have read and discussed Copper Sun, Twilight, To the Power of Three, My Dog Skip and Life of Pi.
Our upcoming novels include Stardust by Gaiman, Cut by McCormick, Shadowland by Cabot, Fahrenheit 451 by Bradbury and Fresh off the Boat by De la Cruz.
In addition to our monthly meetings, we also have an online component to our book club where students can discuss the novel in a secure, online discussion area. See Mrs. Tirschman in the library if you would like to join book club (or online book club) and participate in our discussions!
