Starts on Monday, February 1, 2010. Students will need their Swipe cards for attendance and to borrow library materials.
Why join the PTSA you ask? $3.75 from each membership ensures that your voice is heard at the state, national and Baltimore County PTA levels. PTA members are hard at work making sure that education is fully funded at each of these levels. At Patapsco we help by co-sponsoring the Annual Scholastic and Service Awards Banquet, Fiesta-Val, the After-Prom Event and provide 2 PTSA scholarships.
We invite you to join with us to make a difference in the education and quality of life for our children. We all know that children learn more and have better lives when parents, school staff, students, and the community work together. PTSA brings all these groups together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that benefit children.
We welcome your input. Feel free to attend our PTSA meetings or send us a note through the office. If you are interested in finding out what is going on at Patapsco, we have members from many of the booster groups. Parents, Teachers and Students are always welcome! We are currently looking for parents/ students and teachers interested in joining our 2009-2010 Board.
Our membership goal this year is 800 members. Membership costs $6.00. Please join us by filling out the attached Individual Membership Form, placing it in an envelope, marking the envelope:
- Attn: Patapsco PTSA
- write the student’s name and section at the top
- send to school with your student.
Have your child place it in the PTSA mailbox in the office or take it to Ms. Grimes in the Library.
