Welcome to an exciting time – senior year! There will be so much for us to do this year. We hope that each of you has had a great summer filled with fun and relaxation and that the first two weeks of school were a great start to the last year of your high school career. We look forward to working with the members of the class of 2023 to ensure a successful and exciting senior year as the students begin to plan the next phase of their journeys post-graduation.
We would like to make note of some important dates for y’all to mark your calendars! As more dates / events pop up, we will be sure to add. But in the meantime, please make sure you join our remind group (text @ptap23 to 81010)

We are currently running a Joe Corbi’s fundraiser! Please encourage your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, etc. to purchase items! This can be done by the packet passed out to our seniors on September 8th or by going online and placing the order! Money and orders must be submitted to Ms. Fernandez or Ms. Hall by September 29th! Pick up is scheduled for October 25th - a reminder will go out ahead of time to plan accordingly.
Cap & Gown orders are LIVE!!!! Please be sure to go to Jostens to place your order as soon as possible before costs go up! The packages range from the “cap & gown” package to the “cap & gown, plus a bunch of senior class swag” package – and everything in between. Please feel free to purchase whichever package best fits your needs so long as the package includes at minimum the cap & gown.
Senior Portraits – Lifetouch has released the dates for makeup senior portraits. They have not yet released the information on signing UP for the pictures. Please be on the lookout for more information from Lifetouch about signing up for pictures. The last I heard from Lifetouch is that this information will be made available at the beginning of October.
As we get closer to some of these dates, more info will be sent out. It is our hope that we will be able to send out an updated letter one - two times a month.
Details on graduation have not yet been released by the county. As that information becomes available, we will be sure to share!
Good Morning Fam!
Senior breakfast (October 12th at 8:00AM) is right around the corner and we are so lucky to be able to host it for our seniors this year! You will be responsible for your own transportation on this day!!!!! We want to give you some details about it, so please read below!

We will host senior sunrise that same morning. The sun is slated to rise at 7:13 in the morning but you will for sure want to be here earlier for full effect. Come to the track around 6:45 AM - 7:00 AM and watch the sunrise over Patapsco with your fellow seniors! Take piccy pics and make memories. It is supposed to be a little chilly so please please please dress accordingly!!

Breakfast will then be served in the cafeteria around 8:00 AM because it is for seniors only so we need to clear the cafeteria of underclassmen (who will be PSAT testing).

The Counseling Suite will come in and work with us a little bit on our WHY and post high school plans!

We will vote on senior superlatives.
•
We will head out to the bleachers to line up for our senior panoramic picture.

From the picture ALL STUDENTS will be dismissed. If you have signed the paperwork, you will be able to leave Patapsco to explore post high school plans (college / career options) without penalty of being marked absent.
Please be sure to grab a panoramic picture order form / early release permission slip! If you are in a class with ALL seniors, check in with your teachers. Several have reached out for these forms to keep in their classrooms for you! The counseling suite and main office also have some copies.
