Greetings from the Counseling Office! The new school year will bring a change in the organization of the counseling office. For the 2009-2010 school year, the Counseling Department will no longer be divided by grade level but instead by the alphabet. We feel this change in organization will better serve the needs of our students.

If a student feels more comfortable meeting with a counselor that is not ”assigned“ to them we are more than happy to have them meet with the counselor with whom they feel more comfortable. We understand that many students have strong connections to their counselor and we will honor that connection. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

The School Counseling Department provides assistance to all students academic, social and ethical growth. The counselors provide services both individually and in small groups. They help students experience success in school and to show respect to themselves and others. Student Services also tries to help students to work toward positive school experiences, make responsible decisions, develop career awareness, map career plans, plan for college, work, and post secondary training so that each student reaches his or her full potential.

Transcripts

If you are in need of a transcript for college or a job you must fill out a transcript request form available from Mrs. Grampp in the Counseling Office.  Please allow 2 days for processing of transcripts.  All students receive the first 4 transcripts free of charge.  Each request after 4 will be charged $2.

Students, if you have lost your schedule, you may go to the school counseling office or the front office to get a new one, however, please keep in mind there is a $1 replacement fee.
