Patapsco students attending prom as guests who are not seniors MUST be eligible to attend prom and in good academic standing (no unserved detentions, no more than one E, no suspensions).
• Everyone attending prom must have the numbered ticket given to them at the time of purchase. The ticket number MUST match our records. • Everyone attending prom must have a photo ID for entrance. Tickets are non-transferable. That means the ticket may only be used by the purchaser. You MAY purchase a ticket for your guest, but we will need the name and the approved form before you may receive your guest ticket.

Other Rules:

• You must arrive no later than 8pm. Students arriving after that time will not be permitted to enter.
• You may not leave the event FOR ANY REASON and return. Be sure that you have everything you need before entrance. This includes walking back to your car or to any of the local restaurants/stores/etc.

Guest Forms:

We will not have that form available until a week before we start selling tickets. Keep in mind that the form requires a signature from a current principal (if the student is attending another high school) or an employer.

If you are curious about the form or want to know what will be required, please read the information below:

• The guest must be currently enrolled, in good standing and attending high school.

OR Currently employed and in good standing.

OR A graduate of Patapsco High School within the last two years.

• If your guest does not fit any of the above criteria, you will need to make an appointment with your administrator to obtain permission.

Graduation Tickets

The number of tickets each graduate receives is based on the number of graduates. We won’t know this until closer to graduation. As of right now, the venue does not have any COVID restrictions in place.

Caps & Gowns

If you have not yet ordered your cap and gown, you are running out of time to receive it before graduation.  Please order soon.  Caps and gowns will be distributed to students on May 19 after Farewell rehearsal.

Yard Signs

We have an online store with Appleview Signs.  If you order by April 14, signs will be picked up and distributed at Patapsco on April 20.  Orders placed after will need to be picked up at the store.
